Is PCA right for me?

An electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) is a painless, non-invasive test of your heart.  PCA 500 is a medical standard 12-lead ECG that patients can use at home for self-monitoring under a physician’s guidance.  To decide whether PCA 500 is the right tool to monitor your heart, you should consult your physician.

In general, PCA 500 can be used by patients with chronic arrhythmia, heart failure, stable coronary artery disease, and patients after cardiac surgery, cath and ablation procedures.  PCA 500 is a prescription-based device and should be used under a healthcare professional guidance.

How PCA works?

PCA 500 uses a special electrode that makes it possible for patients who have minimal training to complete the ECG test by themselves. It uses mobile device (smartphones and tablets) to record ECG and transmit to the cloud. If you are not familiar with smartphones (such as iPhone), do not know how to connect to the Internet, or have difficulty placing the electrode, please ask a household member for assistance.
